If you spend any time in the Backcountry, there's a good chance you'll meet Mr. Murphy. His law states, "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong", and usually at the worst possible time.

Join SOS Adventures Master Outdoor Leader Joey Rios on a special overnight clinic and learn the skills you’ll need to be prepared and stay alive! The clinic runs from Noon Saturday until Noon Sunday, October 20 and 21, 2018.  Participants MUST commit to both dates in order to attend and reservations are required! Gear list to be provided to participants when they register. This interactive course is designed to teach adults the skills they’ll need to be confident and safe if they ever get lost or experience trouble outdoors. Meet at the Group Pavilion off Parking Lot A. Activities will include demonstrations and hands-on instruction. Dress for the weather; bring plenty of water, a snack and sun protection. Program open to ages 14 and older; all minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian for the entire two days; no pets please. Reservations required and will be accepted through Noon Friday December 7, 2018. Class size limited to the first 12 who sign up. Sorry, no group reservations.
