Do you know which plants could be tools, edible, or dangerous?

Join us on this hike to learn about some of the plants found at Palmetto SP. What plants are edible, which can be used as tools, and most importantly, which ones are dangerous. 

Time/Locations: 9:00am meeting by the Artesian Well. 

Bring: Dress for the weather, closed toed-shoes, and water 

Hike: Roughly cover less than a mile, over level terrain 

Cost: This event is free with paid park entry, which is $3 per adult, those 12 and under are free. On weekends, reserve your day-use passes early online! 

Note:

  • All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • If no participants arrive within 10 minutes of the start time, the program will be considered canceled.
  • All programs are subject to changes or cancelations. Call the park for the most up to date information.
