Description:

Join a park ranger for this short easy walk as we explore the park after dark.

This short hike will take us through a riparian area near Little Rock. Along our journey we’ll look and listen for signs of the creatures that inhabit the park at night (which now will include us!). Learn how dark skies and light pollution affect these critters and some easy things we can do to help them (and ourselves)!

As an International Dark Sky Park, Enchanted Rock boasts some of the darkest skies in this part of Texas, which means the stars at night ARE big and bright deep in the heart of Texas.

Meet at the beginning of the Interpretive Loop.

Time: Approximately 1.0 hours.
Distance: 0.5 miles round-trip.
