Learn how to use binoculars to explore the world around you!

Binoculars are useful for observing birds... lizards... flowers... stars... The uses are endless. Learn how to fit a pair for your eyes and practice using them. This easy activity brings nature closer to your eyes while letting the wildlife behave in a natural manner!

Loaner binoculars are available for the first 12 visitors. You are also welcome to bring your own binoculars, cameras, etc.

Meet at the Gazebo.

Bring: binoculars (if you've got 'em); walking shoes; water; dress for the weather.

Entrance fee for the park is $7/person (children 12 and under are free); no additional fee for this program. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

Texas State Parks has a NEW reservation system. While we do not require reservations for any events at this time, without a day-use reservation, we cannot guarantee entrance into the park to attend this event. Day pass reservations can be made online.
