We apologize, but this event has been canceled.
**All Honey Creek hikes through the end of April have been canceled. We hope to resume starting in May, but please check here for updates.**
Join us for a guided walk to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This 2.5-hour hike begins at the Rust House inside the park.
This hike is free with park admission of $7 per person 13 and over (free with a current TPWD Park Pass). We request a donation of $2 per person to the Friends Group. If it is raining call the park at (830) 438-2656 for hike status. Cameras and binoculars are welcome.
We advise everyone to wear long pants and close-toed shoes to deal with rocky trails and tall vegetation. Be sure to bring water and a hat for this 2-plus mile hike. No pets are allowed in Honey Creek SNA, including on the hike.
**Save the date! Reserve your spot online ahead of time to guarantee your entrance to the park -- even if it closes for capacity. You can do this up to 30 days in advance with your credit card, or for free with your Annual Texas State Parks pass: https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com/
