Description:

We apologize, but this program has been canceled.

**All Honey Creek hikes are currently canceled. We hope to resume Honey Creek hikes in June. Please check back here for when we will resume this program. Thank you!****

Join us for a guided walk to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This 2.5-hour hike begins at the Rust House inside the park.

This hike is held on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month.

This hike is free with park admission of $7 per person 13 and over (free with a current TPWD Park Pass). We request a donation of $2 per person to the Friends Group. If it is raining call the park at (830) 438-2656 for hike status. Cameras and binoculars are welcome.

We advise everyone to wear long pants and close-toed shoes to deal with rocky trails and tall vegetation. Be sure to bring water and a hat for this 2-plus mile hike. No pets are allowed in Honey Creek SNA, including on the hike.

**Save the date! Reserve your spot online ahead of time to guarantee your entrance to the park -- even if it closes for capacity. You can do this up to 30 days in advance with your credit card, or for free with your Annual Texas State Parks pass: https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com/
