Join us for a hike under the light of the full moon.

This hike will take us up the Summit Trail to the top of Enchanted Rock.

Meet at the gazebo.

Time: Approximately 2.0 hours.
Distance: 1.5 mile round trip.
Difficulty: challenging
Elevation gain: 425 feet.

Bring

• Walking shoes
• Flashlight (preferably with a red lens)
• Drinking water
• Dress for the weather

Entrance fee for the park is $7/person (children 12 and under are free); no additional fee to attend this program. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

NO PETS will be allowed on this hike.

Texas State Parks has a NEW reservation system. While we do not require reservations for any events at this time, without a day-use reservation, we cannot guarantee entrance into the park to attend this event. Day pass reservations can be made online.

You MUST be at the start location at the posted start time to join in on this event. The Summit Trail and all elevated areas in the park close at Sunset unless you are with a Park Ranger.
