Ever wondered how Garner SP was built?

Join Maryann Abbott (daughter of one of the Garner CCC boys) to learn the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps at Garner. We will start at the pavilion then head to the old CCC Commander's  house to explore the legacy they left behind. 

WHERE: Meet at the pavilion at 5pm

BRING: water and a flashlight ( it will be dark when we are walking back from the house to the pavilion)

All ages are welcome. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome, but not allowed into the house. 

This event is free with paid entrance into the park.
