Description:

Enjoy a night under the stars on this easy guided hike!

Join a ranger on this guided night time hike to discover how our senses help us explore the world around us after dark. We will travel about 1.5 miles exploring the Wild Horse Creek and  Old Entrance trails.

MEET: Visitor Center in Shady Meadows camping loop

BRING: flashlight/headlamp (preferably red lens), water and proper footwear.

DIFFICULTY: Wild Horse Creek Trail is easy with one section of relatively steep incline which spans about 50 feet. Old Entrance Trail is an old paved road with a gradual decline. Both trails are considered to be easy.

Spring Break is a very busy time for us; the park typically reaches capacity early in the morning. Reserve your day pass online to ensure entrance into the park.
