Si eres un educador a quien le interesa aprender actividades relacionadas con el medio ambiente y la vida silvestre te invitamos a un taller que combina el currículo de Proyecto Silvestre (Project WILD) y Creciendo Silvestre (Growing Up WILD) de manera divertida. Las actividades son adaptables y recomendables para todos los grados escolares y se alinean fácilmente con los TEKS. El taller proporciona crédito de desarrollo profesional bajo TEA CPEs y TEEAC.
This workshop is created and designed for the future teachers enrolled in education courses (BBL 4353.901) at UTSA. It is also open to the public and all are welcome, but most of your fellow participants will be attending with their classmates.
Open to teachers, informal educators and youth group leaders, this training provides TEA certified CPEs and TEEAC credit.
- Bring a sack lunch
- Bring drinking water for yourself
- Dress for the weather
- Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes (not cowboy boots) - everyone will be running and playing in the park
$50 Preregistration required. No refunds unless canceled by TPWD. Deadline: February 11, 2020
Registration fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training. Attendance and participation in the entire workshop are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
