Quietly experience the canyon after dark.
Join knowledgeable guides on a fairly short, and mostly silent, hike on a hopefully, starry, moonless night! 6PM – 8PM. Participants should be able to hike 3 miles (round trip) over rugged but beautiful trails with some elevation gain. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight, at least a quart of water, and a snack if you like. Meet at the Visitor Center by the Rainwater Harvesting Tower. Reservations required; accepted through noon January 17, 2020. Group size limited to the first 14 who register; open to ages 14 and older; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; no pets please.
