Description:

We've been advancing the stewardship of nature with our environmental education programs for all ages, since 1989. Located at the confluence of the Guadalupe River and Town Creek, Riverside Nature Center provides a unique sanctuary for viewing wildlife while learning about the ecosystems we all share.

Experience tranquility on our nature trail which includes a 2 acre arboretum with a Carrol Abbott wildflower garden, rainwater harvesting system, native healing garden, meadow and a rocket bat house. We are a Certified Wildlife Demonstration Site with a Monarch Waystation butterfly garden. The Visitor's Center houses interactive exhibits and other displays, kid’s corner, gift shop, library and meeting rooms. Also, RNC is a trailhead for access to the River Trail.
